It’s the most wonderful time of the year: when critics encapsulate their favorite movies in list format. Below, just before the calendar turns to 2023 and before ballots are due for our annual award nominations, a round up of some of our members’ favorites of 2022.
Among sixteen lists, ten mention Tár, Everything Everywhere All At Once appears on nine, Aftersun and Top Gun: Maverick on eight, with RRR rounding out the top five most mentioned favorites. Stay tuned for our official nominations which will be released on January 9th!
